How To Cope When You've Hit a Plateau

Here is a list that can help you stay on track and 
bust that stubborn diet plateau.

1) Reward yourself After Losing Five Pounds
    Reach for a non-food related goal (a weekend getaway, a manicure)
    that you can work towards.

2) List the Reasons Why You Want To Change
    Ask yourself what the positive consequences are going to be. 
    Write them out and post them on your fridge.

3)  Take the Focus Off Your Weight
     Focus on the behaviours you're going to change, rather than 
     obsessing on losing those last 10 pounds.  Think about setting a 
     goal  that's related to nutrition, such as decreasing your intake from
     35 percent to 25 percent. You'll feel healthier physically and mentally 

4)  Take Baby Steps
     Trying to lose those last 10 pounds can feel overwhelming.  Think 
     small, instead.  Reward yurself for losing every couple of pounds 
     along the way.

5)  Look at Inspirational Photos of Yourself.at Lower Weight
      Put a favorite picture of yourself on the mirror and fridge
      to remind you of your efforts.

6)  Keep It Interesting
     Try out new and healtful recipes.  I'll alleviate boredom and

7)  Find a new Fitness Actvity
      Trying a new calorie-burning activity can break the monotony
      of doing the same old, same old.  It'll help you stay motivated
